I Will Never Forget
I don’t think that there is just one moment in life that is the most memorable. I don’t think that’s possible. I’ve had so many good experiences, so many things I have to be thankful for.
Having talks with my mom and dad. That always gives me a sense of love, and comfort, like I’m not alone on this earth, that someone actually wants me. Their hugs and kisses, combined with everything else they do, including the nagging. I remember one time, I got lost in the mall, while shopping, and when they found me, I was overjoyed. Maybe that was the happiest moment in my life?
Being with friends. Getting lost, then finding them again, smiles plastered all over our faces. The way we laugh, cry, and fight with each other. The way we’re there for each other, and stick together. When we went to the movies, and hung out, eating candy and popcorn, and screaming fake screams. The happiest moment in my life? Perhaps.
Playing ping pong with my cats. Laughter that brought tears to my eyes, as she jumped for the ball, and ended up jumping off the table. The way Lily won’t play unless the ball is rolled right towards her, and the way Jynx sits, then jumps, like a kangaroo. The love I feel for my cats, when they’re all snuggled into me. The way Tinkerbell demands scratches in the middle of the night, pushing her cold nose into my ear until I respond. The day I got them, and held them for the first time. How they looked like rats, when they had their bath. The way they mewed, and still do, in the middle of the night, crying out for us, for someone to play with. The happiest moment? The happiest memory? That I cannot answer.
I know that my life has been good, that I’ve never really wanted or needed for anything. My life is happy; I love my family, my friends, my pets. I’ve had happy memories, and will always treasure them. As for the happiest moment? You just read about all of them.
